Christmas at Home

So on the 24th,we came back from h-town, just in time to rescue our puppies from the kennel and make it to the Christmas eve service at church. Mamaw and Grandpa met us there, and it was an amazing time of worship. It was nice actually having Drew in the service with us, as long as we have cracker or
tract-tors as says, he does quite well.

After church we all headed back to our house and had tamales. This is a Dazey tradition that stems from San Antonio Christmas's past, and I love it. For some reason, it is the only time of year, we eat tamales, but hey its worth it.

The like any good parents, we stayed up till like 1 am wrapping gifts. Drew was a dear and slept till 730. We did breakfast first and read the Christmas story, and then opened presents. We want to remind our children of the true meaning of Christmas before the tornado hits the living room. I forgot to mention, Kevin surprised us this year with getting a real Christmas tree. It was absolutely beautiful and smelled wonderful.

At about 930, we headed to Mamaw and Grandpa's house to celebrate Christmas with them and Uncle Jeff. Drew got a bouncing horse that currently lives at Mamaw's house and we had a great day if fun and fellowship. Kev's aunt and cousin drove in from Lubbock to have dinner with us, and Kevin and Eric proceeded to spend the next 2 days playing guitar hero nonstop. We ended up spending 2 nights at there house, which they loved, we even trekked back to Arlington to get the Cat and Mama Dog and Rusty. needless to say, the Dazey household was a full one but a blessed one.
