Exciting Weekend and the some......

OK, so a lot has gone on the past 5 days... let me see if I can give it to you in a nutshell....

DREW ROLLED OVER FOR ME THIS WEEKEND!!!! OK, so my previous theory bout his rolling over was wrong, he just decided to string me along for a month. He can roll over from front to back with ease, which means he's been doing it since he was 3 months old. I think that that's pretty impressive.

This weekend we went to Round Rock for a family reunion, and let's just say Mr. Drew was the star of the sow. We saw lots of family and met lots of people. Drew even did well sleeping in his pack n play in the hotel, even with the time change.

We left Round rock early enough on Sunday to go to church in Waco, which was very cool since none of our friends there have had a chance to meet Drew yet. We also saw our Aunt Sandy (Nana's sister) and got to take our very first train ride at kiddeland. It was way cool, check out our smug mug site for pictures soon.

On Sunday night, we started the sleep sense program to help Drew sleep through the night. Man is that tough! The first night Drew cried for and hour and a half. Luckily, Kev was between the crib and I r or I would have picked him up. We sit int he room with him till he settles himself down. Each night has gotten progressively better. Whats funny, is he's not even crying, just fussing, but he's made hims elf horse which breaks my heart. Last night he only woke up twice and fussed for about 20 mins each time. He has begun ti use me as a pacifier at nighttime, and didn't know how to put himself to sleep without my nursing him. So we'll see how it goes, but he is definitely capable of sleeping through the night, and is not starving in the morning when he wakes up.

On Monday, Drew has his 4 month check up and Nana and poppy went with us. Mr. Drew weighs 17lbs, is 27 inches long, and still has a large mental capacity. This puts him in the 97th percentile for height, 90th percentile for weight, and according to Dr. Raine, 100th percentile on cuteness. Who can argue with that ? Drew also needed some shots, but the nurse was a pro and did them very quickly and Drew just fussed, he didn't even cry!

Nana and Poppy stayed till today and they definitely got in some quality Drew time.

We also went to our first playgroup today and it was SO much fun! Its with mommies form our Sunday school class, and it was just nice to sit around and visit with everyone and play with the babies. It'll be so nice to go regularly when school is out!

Drew turned 4 months old on Monday. Its definitely hard to believe. Time is going by so fast. I can't wait to spend every minute with Drew!

Man, you guys were in Round Rock and we didn't even know! Next time give us a call and we'll hook up for a photo shoot or something!

I've been meaning to inquire about which monitors you have that have the voice-activated mode. I know that kind of mode would be nice once little Lowell moves to his own room.
